![]() ![]() When we’re intentional about honoring God in these ways, we can’t help but become “mature in Christ” (Colossians 1:28), as we profess, practice and persevere in our discipleship, growing deeper in our relationship with Him and our relationship with others. This all happens when we Gather, Grow and Go out on mission together as followers of Jesus. The places where that can happen include. Such as: pray for one another, encourage one another, bear one another’s burdens, and more. Our primary form of care will be through practicing the one-another’s seen throughout the New Testament. Rather it’s about all who follow Christ using our God-given spiritual gifts to minister to each other, in the context of our Christ-centered church.Įveryone who authentically follows Christ goes through the continual process of sanctification, which simply means we are becoming more and more like Jesus. Village of Palatine || Join us as we partner with the Village of Palatine to paint, clean up, and landscape sites around the village. We will partner with them to organize their local thrift store. Home of the Sparrow || Home of the Sparrow’s mission is to provide hope, opportunity, and support that empowers women and children as they journey from homelessness to self-sufficiency. We will have a station set up in the lobby to pack bags with toiletries and other necessities.Ĭlearbrook || We will help with landscaping, painting, and other beautification at homes owned by Clearbrook. Packing Homeless Kits || Help us pack bags for Journeys: The Road Home, a non-profit agency that provides shelter, social services, and housing to the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in 37 towns in north/northwest suburban Cook County. The produce grown will be given to the Hope Center. Hope Garden || We are relocating our Hope Garden to a different corner of our property, and we need help to build a new garden. You will get the opportunity to assist guests as they shop, welcome them into the walls of our church, and pray with them. Hope Center || Be a part of the weekly ministry of the Hope Center, providing help and hope in Jesus’ name to those in need. ![]()
